Designated a National Historic Site in 1923, Fort Battleford was the fifth North West Mounted Police (NWMP) Post on the Prairies, built in 1876.   First Nations, Metis, Northwest Mounted Police, and settler stories are interwoven into Fort Battleford's difficult history.  Uncover the role of Fort Battleford in the 1885 Resistance and explore its history through shared perspectives.
