PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll for the Town of Battleford for the year 2012 has been prepared and is open to inspection in the office of the assessor from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following days:
Monday to Friday, January 20, 2012 to February 21, 2012
A bylaw pursuant to section 214 of The Municipalities Act has been passed and the assessment notices have been sent as required.
Any person who wishes to appeal against his or her assessment is required to file his or her notice of appeal with:

Council plans to consider the trade of a parcel of land located in the vicinity of 6th Avenue West and 8th Avenue West between 18th Street and 21st Street.

STREAM LINE RECYCLING
Effective December 12, 2011, the
Town of Battleford Recycle Depot
will be going single stream.
All recyclable material, except glass,
can be placed in the same container
no sorting required. Signs will be
posted on site and on the bins.
Please continue to sort glass separately.

1. Every dog in the Town of Battleford should be licensed. The dog license fee is $20.00 each and licenses may be purchased at Town Hall, 91-24 Street.
2. All dogs must be leashed within Town Limits. This includes walking on the TransCanada Trail. Please clean up after your dog.
3. Loud frequent barking or howling creates a disturbance to the other persons residing in the neighborhood. Please, be considerate.
4. If you no longer have a dog, please contact Town Hall at 937-6200 so we can amend our records.

IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICES
The compost container is to be placed the same way on the street as your refuse container. The lid MUST be closed. Please do not compact materials too tightly in your container, as our truck is unable to empty tightly packed compost containers.
